Most of us have been spending our time in this world with average thoughts, desires and deeds. When we mature, our thoughts and desires may turn to those things of value. We may be given an inner quest for knowledge. We may read and investigate the Sacred Law, the Straight Path and the hagiographies of those who have tread that Path, in hopes of improving our lives and nearing ourselves to our Creator. When we pass on, our books of deeds are closed and we reach the inevitable moment of appearing before The All Knowing, Most Just of Judges. We all pray to be in positions of anticipation of an extremely joyous occasion, and not the moment of extreme fear. Happily, as long as one single breath remains in us, we have time to sincerely turn towards The Most Gracious and Most Forgiving.
